Discussions: Reading posts in a thread
To read the posts in a thread, click on the thread topic in the right pane of your Kiva home page.
After you click on the link, the page for that thread will open. You will be positioned at the first unread post and any posts that you have not yet read will be viewable.
After you have read the conversation, you will see an empty posting box with your name and picture on the left.
You can continue the thread by entering your message in the post box. See Replying to posts in a thread for more about your options when posting. If you don't have anything to add, you can click the button at the top or bottom of the page to go back to your Kiva home page.
You can open/close a particular post by clicking on the
/
in the upper right corner of the post. To open all
the posts, click the
button at the top of the thread.
Notice that each post has a unique url (Link to this post (#0000)), so you can refer to a particular post in another thread or an email. (Links like these are often called "permalinks" in blogs.) Note that if you send someone else a link to a Kiva post, that person will only be able to read it if they can log in to your Kiva.
